Liberty Showcase History
Liberty is located in central North Carolina and is the home to the Liberty Showcase which opened it doors to the public around 1949 as the Curtis Theater. The theater has been host to many Nashville stars such as Ronnie McDowell, Lorrie Morgan, Gene Watson, Exile, Billy "Crash" Craddock, and others. Gospel groups such as Brian Free and Assurance, The DownEast Boys, The Whisnants, The Kingsmen Quartet, and the Issacs are among those whom have graced the stage of the Liberty Showcase.
The Liberty Showcase is a handicap accessible theater with nearly 500 seats on an incline - providing great views of the stage no matter where you sit. The stage has been enlarged so that the performers and the band seem as though they are out in the audience. Lower level seating and balcony seating are available. Watch the show from your seat or kick up your heels on our enlarged dance floor.
Liberty Showcase has family style entertainment to fit all of your family needs. We offer 50's, 60's and beach music from Chad & Kristi, country music from our house band, and gospel from local groups. We offer karaoke every other Friday night for those who have always wanted to get up there on the stage and be in the lime light.
